Supporting the Next Generation with Online, Continuous Learning
What an enjoyable and productive week we had at GFSI in Seattle last week! In addition to attending sessions and networking with industry partners and peers, there was a conference-wide commitment to continuous learning. It was inspiring to see clients and other industry leaders sharing in AIB International’s passion for delivering safe, high-quality food.
Jason Dorsey
Jason Dorsey’s “Developing the Next Generation of Food Safety Professionals” session was truly the high point of the conference. Along with leaders from AIB International, Cargill, SQF Institute and Kansas State University, the resulting conversation provided actionable recommendations to direct the industry in successfully developing the next generation of food safety leaders.
VirtualInspector
Following his book signing at our booth, Dorsey took the opportunity to demo the cutting-edge VirtualInspector as a solution to engage the next generation’s workforce and said,
“It was incredible. That’s the type of innovation that we know is going to change learning and training and safety going forward.”
This immersive training simulator empowers users to identify food safety issues in their plant and improve their self-inspection plan. It also encourages learners to engage in interactive scenarios to develop and test their knowledge to understand strengths and vulnerabilities.
Virtual Classroom
There was also strong interest in our Virtual Classroom, which delivers the learning benefits of live, instructor-led training through an interactive, convenient and cost-effective virtual platform. With Virtual Classroom, you can join a live training event remotely from your office, while engaging and learning as if you are physically present in the classroom.
Assign an Expert
While training that next generation to take on their professional responsibilities, our Assign an Expert service can minimize operational disruption with temporary on-site technical experts. Our experts are available to fill positions for one month or longer and are well-versed at stepping into large complex operations to oversee management, closures and high-risk issues.
Now that we’re back to our offices and production facilities let’s continue that commitment to continuous learning and training the next generation to support the enjoyment of food everywhere.
